Bleu Heard: Mariah Carey’s Remix Album ‘Angel’s Advocate’ Shelved!

The internet is buzzing with reports that Mariah Carey’s ‘Angel’s Advocate’ LP, has officially been shelved. The album was supposedly going to be sold exclusively through Target stores, but that won’t be happening as of now.

It seems as though Island Def Jam is pretending that they never planned to release the remix album. It was just suppose to help with the sales on ‘Memoirs Of An Imperfect Angel,’ which is actually a really good album. They wouldn’t have put Trey Songz, Nicki Minaj, Ne-Yo, etc. on the album if they never planned to release it. The album just wasn’t Mariah’s musical lane. And the poor single choices helped with the decline of consumer interest.

It’s perhaps best Mariah Carey get herself together and rethink her musical direction. Learn from Whitney Houston & Maxwell, they stayed the same musically and still sold records, they also sell out stadiums. She may need to rethink her image as well, these little mini dresses are getting tired.
